Their knowledge and insights help inform the way in which we manage and evolve our business, ensuring that the work we undertake for clients is innovative, creative and differentiated. We do not want to stand still and the Advisory Board challenges us to keep moving forward.

Laura Bottega
Laura is the COO and Head of Client Experience for the International Equity team. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 and has 26 years of industry experience. Between 2006 and 2009, Laura was CAO of the London Active Equity Group of MSIM. She is also a member of the Investment Management Operating Committee. Prior to joining the firm, Laura was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in active equity product management. Before that, she worked as an equity research analyst for the European strategy and luxury goods at Salomon Smith Barney. Laura was named Investment Manager of the Year in Professional Pensions’ Women in Pensions 2018 awards. She led MSIM EMEA’s diversity efforts in 2019 and participates in MS initiatives encouraging girls to consider careers in financial services.
She holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Studies from the University of Cape Town.

Catherine Cripps
Catherine Cripps is a non-executive director of the Boards of Goldman Sachs International and Goldman Sachs International Bank. She was formerly an Investment Director at GAM from 2006 to 2011 where she was Head of Research for the Multi-Manager team. Previously, she held various positions in equity derivatives trading, risk management and product control at investment banks including Credit Suisse and Bankers Trust.
Catherine is also a non-executive director for the Polar Capital Technology Trust plc. She was previously a non-executive director at the Nuclear Liabilities Fund Ltd, CQS Management Ltd and Merian Global Investors (UK) Ltd.
Catherine holds an MA in Physics from Oxford University and pursued post graduate research in Quantum Physics at Imperial College London between 2012 and 2020.

Dan Higgins
Dan Higgins is CIO and a Founding Partner of Marylebone Partners, a multi-asset boutique founded in 2013. He was formerly CIO of Fauchier Partners, a US$8bn alternatives investment manager and a fund manager at Mercury Asset Management, running UK equity portfolios for pension fund clients. Dan has 30 years of experience in the asset management industry.
Dan holds an MA in PPE, from Oxford University. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Andrew Hutton
Andrew Hutton is owner and director of A.J. Hutton Ltd, an investment advisory practice working with private and institutional investors, advising on investment policy, strategy, asset and risk allocation and risk management. Prior to forming his own business in 2007, Andrew spent 28 years in the asset management industry with J.P. Morgan and Coutts.
Andrew has served on investment committees of family offices, charitable endowments and boards of investment trusts. Current non-executive directorships include Chairman of the Investment Committee of Magdalene College, Cambridge and member of the Investment Committees of the Royal College of Music and Newnham College, Cambridge.
Andrew holds an MA in Modern Languages and Law from Cambridge University. He is a CFA Charterholder.

John Kelly-Jones
John Kelly-Jones is a retired partner and former COO of Independent Franchise Partners. He is a non-executive director of a number of companies, in the US mutual fund industry, private investment and technology sectors. He also serves on the board of an education related charity. Having seen the difference that access to quality education makes to ambition, self-confidence and achievement, John is passionate about making quality education available to anyone with a desire to learn.
John previously held roles in asset management and banking in Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the USA.
He holds a BSc in Finance and a BA in German, both from the University of Illinois.
